Technical Lead – Full Stack Engineer

We are looking for a senior technical leader who can translate raw product requirements into clear, engineered solutions and executable delivery plans. This role combines hands-on full stack expertise with technical leadership, architecture ownership, feature planning, and cross-functional execution.

You will lead a team of Full Stack Engineers (Next.js + Node.js) and be responsible for turning product vision into scalable systems, structured roadmaps, and reliable releases.

Role Summary

Own technical solutioning from problem statement to production release
Convert ambiguous business requirements into clear engineering plans and architecture
Lead full stack engineering teams across frontend and backend delivery
Drive scalable architecture, technical standards, and engineering excellence
Act as the execution bridge between Product, Engineering, Security, and DevOps

Requirements

4+ years of software engineering experience with strong full stack background
3+ years of experience leading engineering teams or large feature ownership
Strong frontend expertise with React and Next.js (TypeScript, SSR/SSG, App Router)
Strong backend expertise with Node.js (NestJS + TypeScript), REST APIs, and microservices
Proven experience designing end-to-end system architecture for scalable SaaS products
Strong experience in breaking down product requirements into technical designs and sprint plans
Experience writing technical design documents, architecture proposals, and execution roadmaps
Strong understanding of API design, service contracts, and distributed systems
Database architecture and performance optimization experience (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
Expertise in authentication, authorization, RBAC, multi-tenant systems, and secure design
Experience building secure, compliant systems with strong logging, monitoring, and auditability
Working knowledge of cloud-native architectures and AWS ecosystem
Strong engineering process knowledge: code reviews, CI/CD, testing strategy, release planning
Experience guiding teams on clean code, modular design, scalability, and maintainability
Strong stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Ability to identify technical risks early and propose mitigation strategies
Strong ownership mindset with execution focus in startup environments
Comfortable using AI developer tools to improve productivity and delivery speed

Responsibilities

Translate product vision and raw requirements into detailed technical solutions
Create architecture designs, sequence flows, data models, and service boundaries
Break large initiatives into executable feature plans and sprint-ready tasks
Lead technical discovery, feasibility analysis, and solution tradeoff discussions
Define engineering approach, coding standards, and architectural guidelines
Guide frontend and backend engineers in implementation strategy and design decisions
Review technical designs and code to ensure scalability, security, and maintainability
Plan release milestones, dependency mapping, and delivery timelines
Drive execution discipline across sprints and ensure predictable delivery
Collaborate with Product Managers to refine scope and define MVP vs scale phases
Work with Security teams to ensure compliance-aware architecture and data protection
Partner with DevOps to define deployment strategy, environments, and observability
Ensure systems are optimized for performance, reliability, and multi-tenant scale
Mentor engineers and grow technical ownership across the team
Continuously improve developer experience, tooling, and engineering workflows

Nice to Have

Experience leading platform or architecture initiatives
Prior experience in compliance, cybersecurity, or regulated SaaS environments
Exposure to SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA system design considerations
Experience with event-driven systems and distributed workflows
Hands-on DevOps exposure (Docker, CI/CD pipelines, infra collaboration)
Experience working with fast-scaling startups
